My love of photography started when I was growing up in Milford, CT. While other girls played with dolls, I experimented with my family's 110 camera (with a standup flashbulb) documenting family events and shooting scenes around Milford.
When I was 14, I received my first professional camera, a Ricoh 35 mm SLR from my father. Since then, I have always had a camera by my side. But photography has become more than just a hobby. It is a passion. Wherever I go, whether it's the beach, a nature preserve, or right outside my front door, I am photographing images that have an artistic edginess to them. My photos capture something extra, a raw quality of nature, that distinguishes my work from other amateur photographers. Recently I’ve been interested in documenting the minutiae of life and close-up shots of objects that might otherwise be overlooked.
During the day, I work as an IT specialist in Washington, D.C. But one day I hope to become a full-time professional photographer. For you visual enjoyment, I have compiled a portfolio of my best photos for sale on this web site. Enjoy.
